Argentina is located in the southern part of South America, and is in between the countries Uruguay and Chile. Argentina borders Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, and Bolivia. Argentina is 9th in the world for land area, and is slightly less than 3/10 of the USA in area. The climate of Argentina includes mostly temperate, arid in the southeast, and subantarctic in the southwest. The terrain in this country has rich plains in the North, rolling plateau of Patagonia in the south, and the rough, tall Andes mountains on the Western border of the country.
